After graduating from Baker in 73 I attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina graduating with a BS Biology in May 1973. I married Carol Ostertag (74) in 1978 and then attended USAF Pilot training in AZ. I spent the next 20+ years in the Air Force flying and working in acquisition and flight test management, then retiring in 1998. I flew with American Airlines from 1999 from Miami Fl. I flew B-727 and B-737 aircraft on domestic and international flights. I retired from American Airlines 31 Mar 2020 as a B-737 Captain. I am now working with Flight Training International as a B737 Ground and Simulator Instructor.

It was with great sadness that Carol and I heard of Jim's illness and now his passing Into the loving arms of our Lord- the one loving and living God.  Through Jesus' suffering on the cross, we can accept and appreciate our trials and tribulations as we walk his steps in our earthly existence.   Carol and I ask that joy and peace surround your family, contentment latch your door, and happiness be with you now and bless you evermore.
